Our fitters
At Barnstaple Kitchens, we have our own experienced fitter, with experience from fitting basic small kitchens to complex and large kitchens. This experience has been gained by many years of hands on experience, fitting for larger retailers.
Supply and installation
Should you decide to purchase a kitchen from us, our fitter will book an appointment, convenient to yourself to come out and check measurements, and to survey any other work that needs to be completed by us.
From knocking down a wall to building a new one, putting in new plumbing to dealing with electrics or gas works and tiling walls and/or floors we can organise and co-ordinate it all. We have our own electricians, Gas Safe engineers ( used to be Corgi) but as from 1st April 2009 changed to Gas Safe, Experienced tilers from The Tile Centre. And for Granite or Composite worktops, we use the company who supply us to template and fit, but we still do the preparation work and the connections afterwards.
Even if you only want us to take out and fit the kitchen, and have your own electricians etc, we can still co-ordinate with them.
Installation of the kitchen usually takes between 3 and 5 days.
Installation only
Should you decide to purchase your kitchen elsewhere, but need to find a local, reputable fitter we would still be happy to fit it for you.
Whether it's self assembly or ready made our fitter has the experience required. Again, as with our supply and fit, our fitter would come out to see you at a convenient time to discuss your requirements.
All you would need is a plan and listing of what kitchen cabinets etc will arrive and he will discuss with you any other services that you would need to be quoted for.
